Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete
it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Dear readers, God does not make mistakes. As we read this message together is an indication that we are His. Chosen by His sovereign grace and for His eternal glory before the foundation of the world was created. Be encouraged, be glad, and rejoice, for He called us from the depth of our darkness into His presence.
During the creation of heaven and earth, God looked at the end of each day at the works of His hands and saw that it was good. On the sixth day, God finished His creation and saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. The works of the Lord are perfect and eternal.
God is the potter, and we are the clay in the palm of His hands. The Lord is continuously and mysteriously working in our lives, even if we do not recognize it. He has ordered our steps according to His purposes and desires for our lives. During our journey on earth, He will transform us into His likeness. We are His masterpiece, created in the image of God for His pleasures.
There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen. God has ways of redirecting our path to transform us into His likeness. He will close a door and open another to change our direction. The Lord will teach us patience by using trials and tribulations. He will send conflicting people into our lives to teach us how to love one another and long-suffering. Wisdom, strength, and courage are the reward for struggling in an overwhelming situation. In the process of time, the Lord will use these few things to teach us how to pray.
The transformation in our lives is the working of God and not our performance lest any man should boast. The Lord knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust. God worked for six days and rested on the seventh. However, it will take our whole life journey on earth to transform us into His likeness. God is transforming us into His perfect masterpieces to join the saint in heaven and sing the song of the redeemed. His symphony to sing His highest praise throughout eternity.
