2 Timothy 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord
knoweth them that are his.
The foundation of God is steadfast, unmovable, unshakeable, and indestructible, and it will stand throughout eternity. Before we were born, God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost made a covenant with each other. From the beginning, Father chose to adopt and seal us with the blood of Jesus Christ for Himself. His calling is irreversible and indisputable, and we are forever His.
A promise from the Lord, In the world ye shall have tribulation. There will be great earthquakes in diverse places, famines, and pestilences. Hearing of wars and rumors of war, fearful sights, both in the earth and the heavens. Seeking hope and salvation multitude will turn to religion. However, many false prophets, preachers, and teachers will deceive the majority with their false gospel. Fear and despair will spread among the people as uncertainty covers the land. There will be no hope, no place to run, and no place to hide. As the dead leaves fall from the trees on a windy day, so will the faith of humanity will be shaken.
Consider this blessed assurance given to us by our heavenly Father. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Nothing is capable of removing our name from the palms of His hands. God is our hiding place. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. The Lord watches, protects, and cares for us, and He will never lose anyone that belongs to Him.
God, throughout eternity, has declared His unwavering and unconditional love for us. The emblem of His sovereign grace to adopt wrenched sinners. A symbol that would stand throughout the ages that we are forever His. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Brethren, we are truly blessed and highly in favor of the Lord. We were chosen before creation by His sovereign lest any man should boast. Jesus Christ, our Mediator, has spoken from the cross on our behalf. Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Absolutely nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Father knows who you are and sealed you for His eternal glory. Amen.
